I saw The Land Of The Lost starring Will Ferell yesterday

It was really funny, some jokes in it might not have been suitable for kids though. Haha.

But that's Ferell's style, give the kids the slapstick humour and give the adults the real humour.

uhm...well i cant really say Ice Age 3, since the whole cinema blacked out 1/3 of the way through xD
So I guess my most recent would be Transformers 2 and Terminator 5/Fast furious(latest one).
